Thinking Globally, Acting Locally:  Changing the Way Students Learn Plant Science in the Context of National Reform.

The 2011 NSF/AAAS Vision and Change report serves as a useful platform for discussions about how life science departments at diverse institutions across the country can improve life science education for their undergraduate students.  This talk will explore the impact of national conversations about life science education reform on curricula, educators and plant science education.
